Canberra Secrets Personalised Tours mission is to share a unique guided tour experience that can only be found in Australia’s national capital, Canberra.

Canberra Secrets Personalised Tours provide a true local perspective of what makes this city tick, highlighting the secrets and the quirky within — from the national attractions, through to the city’s thriving café culture and the wonders of the Australian bush.

Based on the successful Canberra’s Secrets publications by Margaret (Marg) Wade (1999, 2003 and 2018) these tours are the keys to unlock the heart and soul of Canberra — the ‘secrets’.

Marg’s Aim

Canberra has a warm, fascinating human side, which the locals know and love. It’s a wonderful place in which to live and visit. Canberra abounds with things to see and do and reveals a vibrancy and sense of fun which we will share with you! Canberra Secrets personalised tours provide the quintessential Canberra experience.

It is important to us to share with you locally sourced, innovative products — so you may get to sample and experience some special treats along the way!

You can take one of our listed tours, or just call us with a suggestion or request and we will design a personalised tour that’s just perfect for you.

And it started with a book!

Marg Wade has a passion for Canberra and has written three very successful editions of Canberra’s Secrets — a great guide book that highlights a local’s perspective of Canberra and what makes it tick (1999, 2003 and 2018).

Marg particularly seeks out the things that are behind the scenes and different — the ‘secrets’.

Marg has worked in media and communications roles within Canberra’s cultural attractions and environment sector, researching and promoting Canberra on radio, television and in print.

So now it’s time to share all that with you as Marg takes you on Canberra Secrets Tours.

As heard on ABC Radio Canberra with Greg Bayliss (last Saturday of the month) 7.10am on @ABCCanberra and at varying times on 2CC and 2CA.
